Installation Guide

Installation Notes:

Rule #1)

Make sure to plug in the Teensy4.0 with the USB facing the correct direction, plugging it in in the wrong way can lead to a burnout.

Rule #2)

If the ESC you are using provides 5V power, make sure that it is only providing 5V and not 5.5 V as most RC Airplane ESC's do, this can cause damage to the Teensy 4.0

Rule #3)

All servo pins only power on when a battery is plugged into the board, however all 5V pads are powered both when the board is connected to a battery or computer. So be wary not to connect high amp draw ( > 0.5 amps) electronics to the 5V pads to prevent your computer's usb port from burning out. Connect these electronics to the Longfly Drehm via the Servo connections instead.

General Installation notes:

If you're wondering if an esc runs oneshot125, if it runs the BL_Heli32 esc software then it will automatically detect that the Teensy4.0 run's Oneshot125 and run it accordingly. BL_Heli_S ESCS WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY RUN A COMPLIMENT ESC PROTOCOL  AND IN SOME INSTANCES MAY NOT BE CAPABLE OF RUNING ONESHOT125 AT ALL.

 * It is recommended that users use standard servo connectors to interface with pins on the Longfly Drehm V1.0. Standard Dupont connectors are not designed to handle the vibrations experienced during flight, often becoming loose and failing
