Here's a project from Pratik Phadte where he implemented the standard Quadrocopter code onto a standard Quad, he's created tutorials on the PID tuning process and loves teaching people the possibilities within aerospace

Why does this exist?


Last year a few mechanical engineering students who love Nick Rehm tried getting their hands dirty with programming a drone.

A few months later they had nothing to show for it except a pile of broken electronics and an immense contempt for how finicky teensy's are. Why couldn't this be simpler? Why is the smoke that comes out of electronics called magic smoke? Is it because it magically makes money disappear?

They were there to code, not to deal with this stuff.

Four Months after that one of those students blew all of his savings to get a simpler solution designed and produced. Now that design is here for you to use so that you can get back to doing what you want to be doing:
